R&D: Xearth presents its three research areas
Microchips and semiconductors, embedded systems, advanced software: Xearth describes its research and development approach and opens the door to collaborations.

Beyond client projects, part of our energy goes into research. We have gathered this activity on a dedicated page, with three areas and a way of working.
Three areas
- Microchips and semiconductors: processor architectures and specialized circuits, with energy efficiency, on-device AI and hardware security as guiding threads.
- Embedded systems and connected devices: microcontrollers, sensors, communication and robotics, from prototype to production-ready board.
- Advanced software: distributed systems, compilers, AI engines and developer tools built for performance and reliability.
An engineering approach
Explore, prototype, validate, transfer: every topic is measured against criteria set in advance, compared with the state of the art, and what works joins our products and projects. We build on open standards, RISC-V and Linux first.
What it means for our clients
Nothing changes in our commitments: we do not sell chips today. But the skills gained in R&D feed our projects, from optimizing an AI model to choosing an electronic board for a connected device.
Labs, schools, manufacturers and startups: if a topic interests you, write to us.
