Waren: the 100% Ivorian ride-hailing app
Rider app, driver app, back-office and business accounts for Waren, the ride-hailing and motorbike-taxi service designed for Abidjan and Bouaké.

Waren is a ride-hailing app designed for the realities of Abidjan: a price fixed at booking, vetted drivers, real-time trip sharing and an emergency button. It offers several vehicle formulas, a motorbike-taxi service in Bouaké, as well as deliveries and everyday services.
The context
A mobility app is at least two apps that must talk to each other to the second: the rider's and the driver's. Add trip tracking, mobile payments, fleet management and business accounts, and take into account a sometimes unstable network.
What we built
- The rider app on iOS and Android: booking in two taps, transparent price, trip tracking, location sharing, mobile payment.
- The driver app: receiving rides, navigation, rider validation by code, earnings history.
- The back-office and real-time tracking of rides, drivers and incidents.
- The business space, for organizations managing their teams' travel, and the sales space for partners.
How we worked
We redesigned the rider interface with a consistent design system, then rebuilt the driver app for reliability in the field: fast start-up, resistance to network drops, controlled battery use. Every release is tested on real trips before publication.
Technologies
Rider mobile app in React Native, driver app in Flutter, Node.js API, real-time mapping and geolocation, web back-office.
What we take away
In mobility, trust is earned through details: a price that does not move, a driver who shows up, a relative who follows the trip. The product must be designed for the city it lives in, not copied from elsewhere.
